Toyo University is hosting Dr. Darla Deardorff, a Fulbright Specialist, as an invited researcher under the support of the Fulbright Specialist Program. Darla Kay Deardorff ダーラ・ディアドルフ

Dr. Darla K. Deardorff is Executive Director of the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA), based in Durham North Carolina, USA, as well as where a research scholar at Duke University. A recipient of numerous awards, Dr. Deardorff has published widely on international education, intercultural competence and outcomes assessment. She has authored/edited 7 books and over 50 articles including The SAGE Handbook of Intercultural Competence (2009), the SAGE Handbook of International Higher Education (2012), Building Cultural Competence: Innovative Activities and Models (Stylus 2012), and Leading Internationalization (Stylus, 2018), among others.
