新型コロナ禍の影響により、留学生の生活・学習環境は甚大な変化を余技なくされており、情報不足に悩み、アルバイトができないなどの経済的な打撃もうけています。日本に在留する留学生から直接に話をきき、意見交換をします。
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the situation for international students has changed drastically and their academic and daily lives have been significantly affected. Information from governments and schools is not necessarily sufficient and opportunities for part-time jobs are very limited. In this webinar, we will hear the voices of international students and exchange ideas about how this situation can be improved.

Series II : Workshop on the methods and resources to deliver online/remote foreign language classes

教授する対象言語は英語と日本語を中心としますが、何語でも応用可能なヒントをご提供します。
自宅からでも、ローテク環境でも始められる４技能をあつかう外国語教育の仕方のベーシック（あくまで事例ですが）をご紹介。アイデアを集めるフォーラムの紹介もします！
This workshop provides very basic tips and methods for online/remote teaching using web-conference tools for foreign language teachers. How can we engage students in practicing four skills (LRSW) while teaching remotely? Can we teach from home (with limited IT resource)? We will suggest some ideas, based on our experience in teaching Japanese as a foreign/second language online.

Series III : Workshop on how to organize virtual exchange program “now” – An introductory session of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) method

VEを、コロナ渦の今だからこそ。Let’s break the “Ice”-solation through Virtual
Exchange. 海外とオンラインでちょこっとつなげて、グローバルな視野を忘れないための学びを提供する手法・事例をわかりやすいステップと一緒に提供します。COILを手掛けて6年目に突入する関西大学(IIGE)がホスティングします。
COIL, by its very online nature, is already COVID-19 resistant. While online/remote teaching has already widely been adopted in educational institutions all around the world, there are even more ways to integrate virtual exchange (VE) pedagogy into your teaching. In this workshop, Kansai University IIGE, which is now entering its 6th year of COIL practice, will share ideas for breaking the “Ice”-solation that we are currently facing with VE with easy-to-understand methods for connecting with classrooms overseas to expand your students’ global perspective.
